Amanda Bishop has been teaching since she was only 13. She has taken part in many competitions and performed in pantomimes, shows and toured the world in a singing and dancing group.
Her passion is Tap Dancing, and she is practically self taught. She taught her sister who has been in shows such as Cats, Starlight Express, Annie, Footloose, Singing In The Rain, Carousel, Oh What A Night, 42nd Street and has most recently been an Assistant Choreographer for the Billy Elliot cast in London and New York. With such a strong connection to the musical theatre world Amanda has had the opportunity to teach her pupils small sections from some of the West End shows!! Her aim to to get every pupil to achieve as much as possible in their own time. Amanda does not believe in passing grades to progress and so children as young as 7 have already learnt how to do a shuffle pick-up change and some have even been introduced to the Wing step. Amanda's patience dedication and skill are clearly seen in every student she works with.
